Hundreds of you have already been involved in UMSAs Transport Campaign. Our petitions are rapidly collecting signatures, and lots of you have attended the forums and demonstrations this week.
There will be more to come after reading week, but in the meantime, here’s what you’ve told us so far:
You want a transport link in place so that Kent students can get to the Canterbury campus for lectures and union events
You want a more frequent and less expensive bus service for Greenwich students
You want more safe transport links in the evening
You want better access to transport information
SO....
We’ve set up a petition for Greenwich students, we’ll be designing a transport booklet and webpage to keep you informed and we’re meeting with outside bodies to discuss night time transport. All because you told us to.
Please keep checking the website in the next few weeks and see how you can get involved. For more information visit www.improvetransport.tk
