Amnesty International Society

The Amnesty International Society is a brand new society and has only just been established. So far, we have 18 paid members and over 60 students who have expressed an interest.

We aim to:

1. Raise awareness of Amnesty International at the Universities at Medway and beyond.

2. Campaign on behalf of Amnesty International.

3. Raise funds for future campaigns.

We are going to talks/conferences about human rights, trying to raise funds on campus, and, hopefully, letting more people know about what Amnesty does and what human rights mean. Please look at the Amnesty International UK website at
www.amnesty.org.uk to see what were all about.

If you are interested please come along to our weekly meetings at the Pilkington Building. We meet on Tuesdays at 5.30pm in pk104 (there's a black and pink sign outside the door normally).
