If the answer to these questions is YES, then you should become a member of the UMSA Freshers Crew!

These volunteers dress in brightly coloured 'CREW' T-shirts and who ensure that all Freshers settle in as quickly and easily as possible and importantly show them how to have fun!  They help students move into their accommodation, help organise both day and night-time activities, and generally provide any help or information that they may need. As you all know, starting Uni is a daunting time, so it's really important that there are plenty of friendly helpers around to ease the stress.  So what are you waiting for?! Get involved!  Volunteering as a Freshers Helper is great fun, and will really make a difference! (For the Kent students among you, any hours spent as a Freshers helper counts towards your KSCV)

If you're interested then please request an application form from [email protected].  Completed applications should then be emailed to Claire Dicker on [email protected]

Please note: training of all freshers helpers will occur during the week commencing 15th September, so you will need to be around campus.
