Student funding
Student funding is a tricky area. The amount of money you receive depends on your own personal circumstances and the type of course you are doing – i.e. whether you’re an undergraduate or a postgraduate. This also affects where you need to apply for funding and whether you will get a local education authority grant and/or loan. Some students are even entitled to university bursaries.

Access Students
There is a fairly small fund available to Access Students called the Learners' Support Fund. This fund is to assist with books. travel and childcare costs, but NOT fees.
Speak to your College regarding these funds and they will direct you on the eligibility criteria and how to apply.
