THE A35 between the Dorchester’s football club roundabout and the Stinsford Roundabout has now re-opened following a crash between a lorry and five cars this afternoon (Monday).
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 1.06pm to reports of a road traffic collision.
“The A35 is closed from the football club roundabout and the Stanford roundabout and officers, fire and ambulance are all attending.”
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called to a road traffic collision involving five cars and a lorry.
They said: “We were called at 1.15pm and it appears to be near the football club roundabout.
“Both crews from Dorchester and one from Weymouth were sent but came away.
“No one was trapped, the ambulance crew ere treating the occupants of the cars and the fire crew made the vehicles safe.”
South Western Ambulance Service were called at 12.57pm to the scene.
A spokesperson said: “There are two casualties with minor injuries and both went to Dorset County Hospital for treatment.”
