Course Reps can make a real difference to your education!  They listen to you, raise your concerns with staff in your School, and report back to you on the results.  Every year of every course or programme has at least one Course Rep.If you have any academic issues you would like to raise, your Course Reps are here to help, so please do use them.

There are 3 roles in the course rep system, we have faculty reps, school reps and course reps themselves. Look at the relevant pages to find out more and contact your rep.

Canterbury Christ Church University Student Reps

Canterbury Christ Church value its students and are keen to hear from them about their experiences of their programme. Your views are crucial to the running of your department. Student Reps meet with staff to feedback the concerns and experiences of students on the programme and negotiate solutions which will benefit the student body.

Become a student rep and ....

Get involved and be the first to know, Hold a privileged position, Be part of the Students’ Union, Gain Valuable experience, Develop your skills, boost your CV, be part of a body of Representatives, gain volunteering hours, earn free printer credits, gain a certificate for voluntary work, network with other representatives, gain training from the Students’ Union, gain support from the NUS, initiate change that will benefit students.

How to become a Student Rep….

Programme staff look for new reps at the start of the academic year, simply inform your tutor of your interest. Once you have been elected, Steve Topazio, Representation and Democracy Coordinator at UMSA will contact you to arrange training at the Medway Campus.
