The main reason you are at Medway is because of your course. With students paying increased fees it is vital that they have a greater input into their education.

LTA… Education is the place for you to openly, informaly and confidentialy discuss academic issues. These could include…

- Teaching Quality
- Assesments
- Feedback
- Organisation and Management
- Work Placements
- Library issues
- Moodle/Blackboard
- Tutor support

So if you want to discuss an issue that relates to the topics listed below then come along to the first LTA…Education session.

LET'S TALK ABOUT...SPORT

Lead Officer: Owen Jones (UMSA Activities Officer)

If you are a member of a sports team then the LTA… Sport sub group is the place teams can discuss sporting issues, apply for funding and influence sports provision at Medway Campus. The sub group meets monthly. It is recommended that a representative from each team is present but if you are an ordinary member and want to get involved then contact Claire Diker (Student Activities Development Coordinator) at claire@umsa.org.uk

Lead Officer: Paul Dunne (UMSA Events & Entertainments Officer)

Whether it is the events at Coopers Bar, organising the summer ball or putting on non alcohol based events elsewhere on campus.

LTA… Events is the place for you to openly, informaly and confidentialy talk about event ideas and what you want to see happen on campus

LTA… Student Life is the place for you to openly, informaly and confidentialy discuss welfare and community issues. These could include…

- Transport issues
- Car Parking
- Safety on Campus or in the local area
- Community Relations
- Housing problems

or you may want to run an awareness raising campaign. Save the whales, Target Chlamydia or Health awareness raising issues etc.

If you want to discuss any of the above then attend the first LTA…Student Life session.
