Behind the scenes
The training for this years Boat Race began back in September 2007 in the sports hall on the universities campus in Medway.
Coaches from Medway Towns Rowing Club came along with ergos and motivation to get us started and heading in the right direction.
Training then moved from the university campus to the rowing club on Rochester's Esplanade, where the new Cyril Baker Clubhouse is under construction.

The months have passed and we have progressed immensely with some of us going from complete novices to competing in races for Medway Towns rowing club.
As race day is fast approaching the captains are making final adjustments to their crews and training as much as they can with hope that the remaining days leading up to May 3rd bring good weather and perfect water.
