Here at Medway we have a range of student societies that cater for everyone.

We are always looking out for new societies, and will give full support to anyone who wishes to set up their own group. It's really simple!!

All you need is....

  • *  A minimum of 12 members who each pay a £3.00 annual membership fee
  •
  • *  A written constitution, approved by UMSA - please click here for a model constitution
  •
We can then supply you with support, advice, our resources and a block grant.
Whatever it is you're interested in, there are almost certainly others who share your interests. Setting up a society is a great way of meeting these people. It doesn't need to be something serious - weird and wonderful suggestions are welcomed! And once you are a registered society you get to organise meetings, campaigns, events, nights out etc....see, it's all good fun!
