Double award for Stoke Abbott micro bakery at Taste of West Awards

THE team at The Wobbly Cottage, a micro bakery based in Stoke Abbott, are celebrating after two of their products took home gold at the Taste of the West Awards this year.

Their Scotch egg with curry mayonnaise and their olive sourdough – which was also crowned champion savoury bakery product – were both awarded the accolade.

Danielle Wright, of The Wobbly Cottage, said: “We are thrilled to have been given two gold awards in our first year of entering the Taste of the West Awards.

“For one of these golds to then be converted into a champion product is amazing and makes all the work we have put into The Wobbly Cottage over the last few years more than worth it.”
